Worship is the centerpiece of life at First Presbyterian Church.

Each Sunday we turn to God’s Holy Word for inspiration, instruction, and comfort. Throughout the liturgical year many of our scriptural texts for worship come from the Revised Common Lectionary. The Revised Common Lectionary is a ecumenical collection of Biblical passages from all of scripture that fit within certain liturgical seasons, such as Advent or Lent. These weekly readings always include passages from the Old Testament, the Psalms, the Epistles of the New Testament, and the Gospels. Below are our lectionary texts for the month of September if you would like to read along.
