The Session

First Presbyterian Church, Oxford, is governed by “presbyters”, or elders, who are lay leaders elected by the congregation. These elders are the spiritual leaders of the church who work alongside the pastors to discern the movement of God’s Holy Spirit throughout our various ministries. Collectively these elders are called the Session and serve a three-year term.
